Assin Manso to pay our respects at the "Donkor Nsuo" (Slave River)

Assin Manso in Ghana is notable for its historical significance as the site of the "Slave River" during the transatlantic slave trade. Enslaved Africans were bathed in the river before being transported to coastal forts for the journey to the Americas. This solemn location now serves as a preserved memorial and heritage site, inviting visitors to reflect on the profound impact of the slave trade and honor the memory of those who endured its hardships.
